Orchids are widely used for home decor, since they are durable and colorful.
Compared to roses, the orchids are more expensive with one stalk having several flowers costing Rs 50 at the local flower seller.
There are also several youtube videos on orchid propagation using aloe vera gel or leaf for propagation.
When the aloe vera was used with the orchid, the stem did not propagate, there were no leaves.
This experiment will be repeated again checking the other videos available online.
